What are Slab Leaks?
Slab leaks are like the pinhole leaks that affect water lines inside your home, except slab leaks affect the underground sewer and water pipes beneath your home’s foundation. This is why they are often so difficult to notice.
The symptoms of a slab leak are similar to an indoor pipe leak:
- Lowered water pressure
- Sound of water running constantly
- Unusually high water bills
- Sudden mold or mildew growth
Slab leaks will also be accompanied by the following problems:
- Cracks in your foundation
- Water pooling outside your home
- Hot spots on your floor that feel damp
Contact your local Springboro plumber to confirm the slab leak and have it fixed as soon as possible.
What to Expect When You Work With Us
Slab leak repair involves digging through your flooring and foundation to access the affected pipe. We understand this is a significant investment and a stressful process to go through. Our experts will take the time to discuss the job with you as well as provide an accurate estimate and timeframe.
In general, slab leak repair on a water line takes 1–3 days. Sewer lines may take longer. The exact timeframe will vary depending on the extent of the problem and ease of access to the pipes.

Our 31 year old house’s sewer line broke in 2 spots at the worst possible locations: 3’ underground beneath a concrete patio and in the house’s foundation. After contacting Spartan Plumbing, Braden came the very next day and diagnosed the problem. In just 1 day, the patio was excavated and the sewer line was repaired. Nate and Taylor did an outstanding job making the repairs. Special thanks to Josh for his expertise running the mini-excavator and Bobcat. For a young business, Spartan Plumbing is on the cutting edge technologically and I highly recommend them!

Upon arrival Tim told Nick of a issue with the check valve for the waterbackup pump. Nick seen that the check valve had a pin hole in it possibly due to age and hard ground water. Nick noticed the main sump was covered in calcium from ground water and did a test on the coil windings and found that the pump was very weak also the check valve for the main pump was older and the stainless steel bands are rusty to the point they could fail. Nick also noticed the pressure reducing valve had water leaking from the adjuster screw and even though the valve was working properly it is still recommended to be replaced due to its age and the leak Nick presented multiple options And Tim went with option A1. Also at customers request with this option he ask if we could change a delta cartrige in master bed bath onleft sink hot side. Nick Removed and replaced main sump pump with new check valve on main pump and the leaking check valve on hydro pump also prv and dual check valve Swapped out delta car

Alex was called out to do an annual inspection for bilal, On arrival both bathrooms, the water heater, laundry room, and kitchen we’re all inspected. It was found that the only thing of concern inside of the house is a shut off valve under the sink that has the handle broken off of it. Besides that, everything looks healthy and in great shape !

Shelley recently had McAfee heating and air out to replace her furnace and AC unit McAfee disconnected her old humidifier and recommended a plumbing company to come out to remove valve from plumbing system she contacted a Spartan Plumbing and wanted us to remove this valve from her system in addition we evaluated her plumbing system in basement and found couple items that’s concerning and recommend replacement. Shelley Has used Spartan plumbing before and says she will continue to use us in the future. Kyle and Andrew recommended replacement of the main water shut off valve and installation of a pressure reducing valve along with new thermal expansion tank to safely regulate homes plumbing system at a safe working level Shelley decided to move forward with valve replacement only today. Kyle and Andrew identified where water meter is in front yard and with shovel removed overgrown grass in order for us to document its location in case there is an emergency in the future.

Alex was called out due to a suspicion of a pipe leak in the upstairs bathroom, upon arrival it was found that the bathroom under the upstairs bathroom had water damage in the ceiling. Price was quoted out to cut into the drywall and was agreed-upon. Once cut into the drywall it was found that nothing was visibly leaking after 5 to 10 minutes of running the bathtub and sink upstairs. It was noticed that the bath tub waste and overflow was aged and could’ve been the culprit for the leak, but nothing was leaking at the time. A price was quoted out to Alan to replace the tub waste and overflow. When given pricing Alan decided to pass on work today and keep an eye on the hole in the drywall where the watermarks were to see if anything leaks in the coming days.

- Warranty the current tank for you by the manufacture. - We will have to process warranty with State in person. We will handle all warranty info directly. - We will make the necessary upgrade to the tank venting to prevent condensation from destroying the blower motor. - Mount the expansion tank properly to about the plastic pipe for the home. This will prevent the pipe from pulling out and breaking overtime. The current plastic pipe for the water heater seems to be separating but not leaking. This will include a new expansion tank. - We will provide a 1 year warranty on our install that is transferable to the new home owners. We will not cover anything happening to the tank itself. - Install a new outside faucet for the backyard. - Have no worries for the summer coming up. - 1 Year warranty on our install. Kyle z I removed one old state water heater that was under warranty an installed a replacement under the warranty then mounted the expansion tank on the wall then cut

Alex was called out due to a suspicion of a drain pipe leak, upon arrival it was found that there is wet spots in the wall of the bathroom. A diagnostic fee was quoted out to Cut into the drywall and find where the leak is. When cuts were made, it was found that there was a pinhole leak in the 3 inch PVC in the wall. After, a quote was given out to replace the section of 3 inch with brand new 3 inch to ensure no leaks of any sort. When prices were given out Jeremy opted to try to see if he could fix the leak himself. The quotes will be sent out to Jeremy‘s email just in case he is not able to fix it.

Technician Mike responded to a call concerning a tankless water heater not providing hot water. Upon arrival Mike met Srinivas who directed him to the back of the kitchen where the existing Noritz tankless water heater is. First looking at the unit you can see the digital panel flashing error code 51 indicates a problem with the gas solenoid. Mike then presented an extended diagnosis option to Srinivas to contact tech support and evaluate the system. He agreed. Mike then contacted Noritz tech support. They had Mike remove the front plate of the unit, and the metal plate in front of the manifold. They then had Mike run through a series of numbers on the digital panel. Mike also sent multiple pictures to them as well. Noritz said there is less than a year left of the warranty and they will be shipping repair parts to the restaurant. The repair parts consist of the heat exchanger, thermal fuse, manifold, burner, ignition rods, and igniter. Mike then put both plates back on the unit an
